Back To Back Qld Titles for ECPR
"No glitches and no drama" was how Robbie Farr described the performance of the East Coast Pipeline Racing teams' successful defence of their Queensland title at Toowoomba Speedway last Saturday night.

Robbie topped the field in time-trials with a blistering lap of 11.846 seconds, more than a tenth of a second quicker than his nearest rival and one of only three cars to break the 12 second barrier.

Courtesy of his quick time he then had to start each of his three heats from the rear of the field where he raced his way forward in each of them to finish with two seconds and a third.

At the completion of the heats the ECPR team found themselves at the top of the points table which qualified them from the front row.

From the start of the A Main Robbie set the pace and in the process set the quickest lap time on lap 21. Robbie ultimately led every lap of the event to claim his second straight Queensland championship.

"The boys done a great job, said Robbie. We had a real solid weekend!"

The East Coast Pipeline Racing Team will next hit the track at Archerfield Speedway on October 1st for round 1 of the KRE Sprintcar series.
