Farr Wins In Brisbane

( Apr  13, 2011 ) - Robbie Farr & The East Coast Pipeline team were back on track in Brisbane last weekend, having a win in the KRE track championship round after not having the best of runs in Adelaide the weekend prior too. It was good to get back on familiar ground where the team has had success already this year.

Farr was quick all night, being fastest in time trials & breaking the 6 lap record in the dash on the way to pole in the main event. "It was good to be that quick all night, we are very happy with the car and the team has continued to move forward since World Series" commented Farr this week.

When the A main took the green Farr felt confident enough with the car straight up that barring any mechanical mishaps he felt he could win the race. That feeling paid off, as Farr & the number 7 East Coast Pipeline KRE, took the checkered flag & a victory in the teams home town.

Farr is looking forward to this weekend at Dubbo Speedway for the two day $10,000 to win 410 Sprintcar Diggers Cup. Along with the impressive prize money is also the opportunity to run with the NSW sprintcar group, something Farr has not done a lot of this season.

The weekend after Dubbo is Easter time, and for something different this season Farr & ECPR will venture north to contest in the Queensland Easter Trial. This will be a first form the team, but Robbie stated "it made complete sense for the boys to stay near home at this end of the season and provide an opportunity for the car owner to see his team race a few more times prior to the seasons end".
