Farr Tames 2010 Weekend Number 1 with a win. Robbie Farr & the East Coast Pipeline Racing team made their 2010/11 season debut at Macs Speedway in Northern Queensland this past weekend. 23 Sprintcars made the trek north for the first big bang of 2010 & the East Coast Pipe Line Racing team were better prepared than ever with a fleet of new Eagle chassis just waiting to get on the track for a run. Rob Farr had good heat race results with a pair of seconds as well as a 2nd in the dash putting him on the front row with peter Lack for the Mackay Sprintcar Spectacular $10,000 to win main event. The A main had some heavy hitters in the field for their first up runs for the season with Reidy, Dumesny, Woods & Lack there in the field, good competition for Robbie & the team to gauge themselves for the start of the season. Speaking with Robbie Farr this week he was very positive about the weekends results “A first up win for East Coast Pipeline & the boys is the best outcome we could have hoped for, the new Eagles are a nice thing to drive & I thought we adapted pretty well & looking forward to more success this season, we will now venture down to Brisbane this weekend for their club show & see how we go on a different surface in these cars, I just want to again thank the boys for the hard work & the continued support from Barry & the East Coast Pipeline team of sponsors, we are looking forward to some big things in 2010/11 & can’t wait to hit the road” Watch out soon for the new range of ECPR merchandise, it will be available online & from the track, this year’s gear is something different again and you won’t want to be seen without any on.
