Farr Delivers

What a weekend for the EastCoast Pipeline Team at Tyrepower Parramatta City Raceway (TPCR) for the running of the EastCoast Pipeline Outlaws Down Under V event.


On the opening night Robbie Farr and the team were happy to time in fourth quick in time trials. “With it being such an important event it is always great to start off the weekend with a good time to give you the chance to transfer from your heat race, which we did” Farr explained.

Come feature time Farr held onto third position till half race distance then he was passed by some of America’s best and ended the race in sixth position but was the first Australian home.

Due to bad weather in Sydney both Friday & Saturday nights racing was cancelled.

Sunday night was all systems go for the EastCoast Pipeline Outlaws Down Under V event and what a night it turned out to be.

All heats were raced when the weather gods decided to play havoc again at TPCR.

“When the rain fell down onto the race track it put a real damper on everyone, but to the tracks credit they did everything possible to get the show done and I am real happy, plus it was great to see all the fans stay” Robbie said.

Farr started the event on pole and lead the entire thirty laps to win and put a smile on the faces of the entire EastCoast Pipeline Team.

“This team is not even twelve months old and we are just wrapped to win this for everyone involved” Farr commented.

Also congratulations must go to Nick Speed (Crew Chief) who won the Inside Speedway Crew Chief of the Year on Wanless World Series Sprintcars.

“Nick has done a tremendous job of putting this whole team together and it is great that he has been rewarded with this prize” team owner Barry Waldron commented.

Two big weekends are coming up for the team with the running of the Grand Annual Sprintcar Classic at Warrnambool then back to Sydney for the Australian Sprintcar Championship the following weekend.
