On behalf of Eastcoast Pipline Racing we hope that everyone had a safe Christmas and an enjoyable New Year.

Robbie Farr and the team arrived into Adelaide on Boxing Day ready to tackle Speedweek - the most gruelling five nights of racing over seven days.

Round one of Speedweek of Wanless World Series Sprintcars proved to be a great way to start these hectic days ahead.
With a bumper crowd in the house Robbie put the Eastcoast Pipeline J&J into 3rd position in the A-Main.

The team then moved to Murray Bridge the following day to contest Round two of Speedweek and the night started off just the way you would want it to by setting quick time.

“It is always great to set quick time but you still have a lot of work to do before the night is over” Farr said minutes after setting the track alight.

Roll on feature time and once again Farr and the Eastcoast Pipeline Team put the car on the podium with a solid 3rd.

The 3rd day of Speedweek there was no racing but the team put in a solid days work by getting everything ready for Mt Gambier the following night.

Mt Gambier’s Borderline Speedway is one of Robbie Farr’s favourite tracks, having won some major races there over the years, so rolling into the pits that day the Eastcoast Pipeline Team were ready to get higher on the podium after two solid third positions.

“We didn’t get what we wanted done, but hey finishing 7th is still good and we are still in the hunt to do well in the Speedweek points chase” Farr later commented.

It was then across the border to Geelong’s Avalon Raceway to finish the year on a high note. Farr showed the entire field how to get around Avalon and he set Quick time.

“I have a lot of confidence in this team and coming to Avalon I new we were ready to start up near the front in the Eastcoast Pipeline J&J to give us every chance of taking the feature win” Farr said.
Robbie took the feature win in front of a great crowd and put a smile on all the Eastcoast Pipeline Teams faces.

After a quiet night for New Years Eve, Robbie and the team wanted to start off the new year the same way they did just two nights ago.
Warrnambool’s Premier Speedway set the scene for the final night of Speedweek and the Eastcoast Pipeline Team wanted that title of Speedweek winners.
In another solid performance Farr finished 3rd and wrapped up the title of Speedweek Champions.

“It is a tough seven days of racing across the country and I am so proud of this Eastcoast Pipeline Team to win this Speedweek Title in its first year out on the road” Robbie said.

The boys then headed up to Tyrepower Parramatta City Raceway for the Bevelite Glass $50,000 to win race last weekend.
Night one was once again a very solid night for the team with Farr locking himself into the top four with a third position in the feature race.

Qualifying that well on night one meant that the Eastcoast Pipeline team only had to race the dashes to see where he would start the A-main from on Night two. Farr took out Dash two which gave him the right to start out of position two in Australia’s highest paying winners cheque race. After a demanding race Farr came home in second position.

“We had a strong car out there tonight but when you have the world’s best racing against you its tough. I’m just proud to say we are the 1st Australian home and to finish 2nd behind Donny Schatz is not too bad” Farr explained.

The Eastcoast Pipeline Team now heads to Brisbane for the final round of Wanless WSS and has a very good chance of taking out the Wanless WSS Title.
