It has been an incredibly successful year for a new team enjoying their first year out on the road. The East Coast Pipeline team raced at 46 meetings this year and had an amazing 21 top 3 finishes. Speaking to Robbie this week, he still cannot believe the year the team has had. “Having worked with Nick previously, it was always going to be a little easier to gel and get things happening the way we wanted it to. To be honest, I knew it would be an enjoyable season but it was great that we got the consistent results we did for all our sponsors and the fans across Australia”. The highlight of the year for the team was winning the final night of the East Coast Pipeline Outlaws Down Under V event at Tyrepower Parramatta City Raceway. “To win the event whilst competing against arguably the best sprintcar drivers in the world is definitely an achievement for us” said Farr. Barry, Robbie, Nick and Sean would like to thank everyone who contributed to the success of East Coast Pipeline Racing in 07/08. Winter is here and it signals the end of the 2007/2008 season for the East Coast Pipeline Team. With the support of team owner Barry Waldron, crew chief Nick Speed, Sean Grealy and driver Robbie Farr came together to form East Coast Pipeline Racing in early 2007.
