Aceways Autogear Racing team driver Robbie Farr finished on the podium in the Preliminary Feature for the Titan Garages World Series Australian Sprintcar Open at Brisbane International Speedway on Friday night January 12, finishing third in his #7 Cool car behind Series Championship contenders Max Dumesny and Jason Johnson.

Farr passed Danny Reidy in the latter stages of the race to grab the final podium spot and enough points to see him inside the top five on the leader board ahead of the remaining races tonight. Earlier in the night, Robbie timed in second quick with a 11.708 second lap of the Speedway, just outside of Bud Kaeding's 11.688 run and then accumulated enough points in his qualifying Heat races to start the Preliminary Feature from the fourth row of the grid.

Robbie's team mates Todd Wanless and Brent Kaeding timed in 5th and 16th fast respectively, with both drivers involved in incidents or suffering flat tyres in their Heat races which impeded their runs. Todd qualified for the sixteen car Preliminary Feature and battled for most of the race with 2006 King Of California Series Champion Jonathan Allard, eventually getting the better of the American and bringing the #61 Maxim home in tenth position.

All three Aceways Autogear Racing team drivers return to BIS tonight for the final night of the 2006/07 World Series Sprintcar Championship and the running of the fifty lap, $20, 000 to win Titan Garages World Series Australian Sprintcar Open.
