Aceways Autogear Racing team driver Robbie Farr finished in fourth place in the final of the Outlaws Down Under IV event at Parramatta City Raceway on Saturday night January 20, a very credible result against the very best of the world's sprintcar drivers at one of the most anticipated events on the national speedway calendar this season.

With close to eighty drivers from across Australia and the United States nominated for the event, Robbie's result cemented his standing as one of Australia's best, leading home a number of highly respected World Of Outlaw and Australian drivers to finish just outside the podium positions.

In a stellar weekend of racing for Robbie, his results over the two preliminary nights garnered him enough points to qualify for the Dash on the final night, finishing third behind Steve Kinser and Max Dumesny to secure a second row start alongside current Outlaws Champion Donny Schatz in the forty lap Feature event. Robbie ran the entire race within the top five, bringing the #7 Aceways Autogear Racing Cool home behind race winner Schatz, Kinser and Australian Champion Brooke Tatnell and just ahead of newly-crowned World Series Champion Max Dumesny.

Robbie's team mates in Joey Saldana and Todd Wanless also competed on each of the three nights of the event, with both drivers earning enough points through the preliminaries to qualify for the B-Main on the final night. Joey moved from the last row on the grid to eighth position at the flag to secure a transfer into the A-Main while Todd was credited with thirteenth place and missed the transfer to the big race. Joey eventually brought the #9 JEI/Mopar car home on the lead lap of the Feature in fourteenth position.

With the three day Outlaws show now behind them, the Aceways Autogear Racing team have little rest before their next event at Avalon Raceway in Victoria this Wednesday night January 24, the annual Presidents Cup event. The team then cross the border into South Australia on Thursday for the Kings Challenge and then back to Warnambool Victoria on Friday and Saturday night for the Grand Annual Sprintcar Classic at Premier Speedway.
