EastCoast Pipeline Racing ventured to Tyrepower Parramatta City Raceway last Saturday night to contest round 6 of Wanless World Series Sprintcars with something to prove.
After a previous tough week at Brisbane International Speedway the team re-grouped and looked forward to racing at Tyrepower Parramatta City Raceway, where Robbie Farr cut his teeth in his younger days.
The weather looked liked it was going to play a big part in the events running and the night looked to start very badly for the EastCoast Pipeline Racing by pulling marble one for time trials.

The new season has brought mixed results for Robbie and his new team, East Coast Pipeline Racing. After a hit out up North in Queensland with some good results it was of to Western Australia to start the WSS tour with a pleasing result in round 1.
After four rounds of the World Series Sprintcars, Robbie sit in second place on the points table, mostly the results for the heat racing and the main events have been good and promising for the East Coast pipeline Team.
Time trials play a big part of this series and Robbie has been in the top seven qualifiers at each round so far which is a very good achievement when you look at the some of the qualifying draws and the Track conditions. Most tracks have been very slick so far but the team have been able to keep on top of this for qualifying.

Sydney sprintcar driver Robbie Farr raced to victory in the Presidents Cup at Avalon Raceway in Victoria on Wednesday night January 24, leading home American Daryn Pittman and David Murcott in the 26th annual running of the event.
Farr, driving the Aceways Autogear Racing #7 Cool, timed in second quick in the field of thirty-two cars and finished fourth and first in his qualifying Heat races to earn enough points for a front row start for the Feature grid alongside Australian Champion Brooke Tatnell. Tatnell led the early laps before a reported mechanical failure ended his night, allowing Robbie through to the race lead and victory in the time-honoured event.

Aceways Autogear Racing team driver Robbie Farr finished in fourth place in the final of the Outlaws Down Under IV event at Parramatta City Raceway on Saturday night January 20, a very credible result against the very best of the world's sprintcar drivers at one of the most anticipated events on the national speedway calendar this season.
With close to eighty drivers from across Australia and the United States nominated for the event, Robbie's result cemented his standing as one of Australia's best, leading home a number of highly respected World Of Outlaw and Australian drivers to finish just outside the podium positions.

| Tyre Woes Ruin Farr's Open Chances |

Aceways Autogear Racing team driver Robbie Farr led the opening laps of the Titan Garages World Series Sprintcar Open at Brisbane International Speedway on January 13, out-running eventual winner Brooke Tatnell over the first ten laps before a deflating right rear tyre on the #7 Cool ruined his chances late in the race, dropping to eighth at the flag. Team-mate Todd Wanless finished the Open in eleventh position.
Farr, who won the B-Dash to set up a front row start alongside Tatnell in the fifty lap Final, led until a stoppage on lap ten bunched the field behind him and Tatnell found a way past on the outside once the race went green again, with Robbie then running second for close to the next thirty laps of the race. During another stoppage, Robbie's tyre began to deflate quickly and despite his best efforts to keep the tyre inflated, the former National Champion struggled to keep pace with the leaders from that point on, losing six places over the last portion of the race to eventually finish in eighth position.

Aceways Autogear Racing team driver Robbie Farr finished on the podium in the Preliminary Feature for the Titan Garages World Series Australian Sprintcar Open at Brisbane International Speedway on Friday night January 12, finishing third in his #7 Cool car behind Series Championship contenders Max Dumesny and Jason Johnson.
Farr passed Danny Reidy in the latter stages of the race to grab the final podium spot and enough points to see him inside the top five on the leader board ahead of the remaining races tonight. Earlier in the night, Robbie timed in second quick with a 11.708 second lap of the Speedway, just outside of Bud Kaeding's 11.688 run and then accumulated enough points in his qualifying Heat races to start the Preliminary Feature from the fourth row of the grid.

The travelling World Series Sprintcars show rolled into Brisbane on January 10 for Round 14 of the Championship at Titan Garages Brisbane International Speedway (BIS) and by night's end, the Aceways Autogear Racing team of Todd Wanless, Robbie Farr and Brent Kaeding had posted a couple of top ten results against what many regard as one of the strongest sprintcar fields ever assembled at the venue.
With nine Americans (including Brent), current Australian Champion Brooke Tatnell, six time World Series Champ Max Dumesny and host of Qld and interstate stars in the thirty-two car field, the racing was always going to be hard and fast on the 1/4 mile raceway. All three team members qualified within the top fifteen drivers in time trials and all within two tenths of a second of each other, earning themselves mid-field starts in each of their Heat races.

| Tale Of Two Cities For Aceway Autogear Racing |
| Monday, 08 January 2007 00:00 |
 |
 |
 |
|
It was a tale of two cities for the Aceways Autogear Racing team when Todd Wanless and Robbie Farr took on the world's best sprintcar racers in the Bevelite Glass $50 000 to win race in Sydney on January 5/6 while Pete Thorley and American Brent Kaeding remained in Brisbane to fly the team colours in the inaugural Sprintcar Piston Cup at Titan Garages Brisbane International Speedway.
With close to seventy cars entered for the Bevelite Glass race and only twenty-four spots available in the A-Main event on night two, competition for those spots was always going to be tough. Driving the ex-Kasey Kahne JEI/Mopar entry and despite failing to qualify for the Preliminary Feature on the opening night of the qualifying races, Todd worked his way into the main event field on night two, eventually finishing twenty-second behind race winner and current World Of Outlaws Champion Donny Schatz. Robbie however had a less than memorable weekend in the #7 Cool, finishing eighth in the B-Main on night two and missing out on qualifying for the big race.
