The entire Aceways Autogear Racing team will be in action at Brisbane International Speedway (BIS) this Saturday night October 7 for the opening round of the 2006/07 Comp Cams Series, and with Robbie Farr and Pete Thorley finishing 1-2 for the team in the Feature last week, Todd Wanless will be striving to match the feat and run his brand new #61 Cool car up front in Saturday's twenty-five lap Feature event.

After missing the first MSAQ Club show of the season at BIS due to business commitments, Todd returns to racing on Saturday and is eager to get behind the wheel of the new car after campaigning last season's Maxim chassis in Mackay and Cairns during September.

"We're looking forward to running the new Cool chassis this week, we've heard a lot of good things about them and Robbie ran one for a couple of races for Krikke Motorsport last season and was impressed with the way the car worked, which obviously helped us in making the decision to go with them this season" Todd explained. "The boys at the shop are busy putting the finishing touches to Robbie's new Cool chassis as well and we hope to have that car ready for him in time for Parramatta on the 14th (of October). Robbie and Pete did a great job for us last week, but I think it's my turn this weekend." he added with a grin.

With a schedule that takes the team across the country this season, Saturday night's event will be one of just a few that sees all three cars in action together. With Todd and Robbie out on the road from mid-October and Pete concentrating his racing in Qld, the team's next three-way assault on a race won't be until World Series Sprintcars makes it's way to the Sunshine State in January.

Todd, Robbie and Pete will all be on hand after the races this week to sign autographs for fans, be sure to drop by the Aceways Autogear Racing transporter to pick yourself up some cards and posters and to say hi to the team.
