Last Saturday night Robbie Farr took out a strong win in the Powerbuilt Sprintcar Classic at Rupuna Speedway just outside of Christchurch in New Zealand in fine style.
The night didn’t start of as planned for Robbie after a small fault with the diff stopped his hot laps session. After quickly rectifying the diff problem Robbie headed out for the first heat of the night but the bad luck continued. The Engine started to miss fire at the start of the race, then a red light situation occurred where Robbie kept the engine running to warm in up a little more, the misfire seemed to have disappeared. At the restart the problem reoccurred with Robbie pulling to the infield. The fault seemed to be worse that first expected putting him out for the night.
As each heat race per round is separated buy other class events Steve Duff came up to Robbie and offered his car to him which would allow Robbie to restart his campaign for the night with out missing a round of heats.

| Aceways Autogear Racing Leave Wa Inside Wss Top Ten |

|
The Aceways Autogear Racing team of Todd Wanless and Robbie Farr competed in the opening Rounds of the 2006/07 World Series Sprintcars (WSS) Championship in Kalgoorlie and Perth on November 8/10/11, with both drivers leaving WA inside the top ten in WSS points ahead of the next round of the Series at Speedway City in Adelaide this coming Saturday night, November 18.
Racing against some of the best sprintcar drivers from Australia and the US, Todd and Robbie's quest for WSS glory was never going to be an easy one but the two former National Champions acquitted themselves well by qualifying for each night's main event. Farr was particularly unlucky not to finish on the podium at Kalgoorlie, leading the points after the Heat races in the #7 Aceways/ABC Auto Group Cool and running second to eventual winner Brooke Tatnell in the Feature before slipping to fourth at the flag. Wanless' run in the A-Main at Kalgoorlie ended mid-race when he rolled his #61 Cool racer while running inside the top twelve after earlier grabbing the final transfer spot in the B-Main to start 18th in the night's Feature event.

Pete Thorley came oh so near to winning at Maryborough Speedway on Saturday October 14, leading for most of the twenty-five lap sprintcar Feature race before eventually finishing in third position, his second podium in just his third race this season.
Driving the #51 Aceways Autogear Maxim, Thorley had dominated the race after starting on the front row alongside Andrew Scheuerle and led for just over twenty laps until an incident in lapped traffic put paid to his chances of securing his first win of the season. Pete was forced down low and onto the infield as he endeavoured to put additional space between himself and Scheuerle as they raced their way through the backmarkers, both Scheurle and Ben Wright taking full advantage of Pete's misfortune to get by and relegating him to third at the flag.

| Farr's Brisbane Form Continues |

He may hail from Sydney and consider Parramatta City Raceway his home track, but it appears that Robbie Farr has certainly taken a liking to Brisbane International Speedway (BIS). Another podium result, second place behind Feature winner Cameron Gessner in the opening round of the Comp Cams Series, has continued his remarkable string of results at the Qld race venue in 2006.
Since joining the Aceways Autogear Racing team late last season, Robbie has competed in eight events at BIS and finished on the podium seven times, racking up four wins in the process. Of the four events he has run with the team this season, Robbie has failed to finish outside the top five and he will look to carry that form into Round 3 of the Coca Cola Track Championship at Parramatta this Saturday night October 14, where it is expected he will also debut a new Cool chassis.

| Mixed Night For The Aceways Autogear Team |
| Monday, 18 September 2006 00:00 |
 |
 |
 |
|
It was a mixed night of results for the Aceways Autogear Racing team at Cairns Motor Speedway on September 16 with Robbie Farr finishing fourth in the A-Main event and team mate Todd Wanless finishing down the line in ninth position after earlier battling for a top five spot.
The team was quietly confident of a strong showing at the Ireland's Of Cairns Sprintcar Classic after both cars ran inside the top five in Mackay the previous weekend, but minor motor problems hampered Todd's run through the heat races and Robbie's string of third place finishes in his qualifiers resulted in a third row start for the former National Champion and plenty of work still to do on a deceptively fast but narrow racetrack.
