Last Saturday night in Brisbane, the 2004 Australian Sprintcar Champion Robbie Farr took out yet another sprintcar A Main victory. The “Action Man” racing his Easter Trail winning Titan Garages and Car Ports Eagle came out of position 2 and quickly took control of the Main at the green going onto score the win by almost a 1/2 lap.

The win made up for Robbie’s previous weeks disappointment after being sent to the rear at the start of the feature, leaving him to forge back through the pack, ending with a sixth placing.

The previous week, Robbie in the Queensland based Titan Garages team Eagle headed to the Charlton Raceway in Toowoomba, and as has been the case all season, the “Action Man” was in top form. The Aussie champ moved forward in both of his heats, greeting the checker with a third and a victory. Robbie continued his great evening and won the pole shuffle, giving him pole position for the A Main feature. Going into the main Robbie was very confident. It took a few starts to actually get the race underway but after the third race restart, Robbie was deemed to have jumped the start by race officials and sent to the rear. Robbie wasn’t given any warning of jumping the start and had to do it the hard way from the rear of the field. It was a narrow but racy track, with Robbie forging his way back up into fourth position. Unfortunately at a restart, Robbie made a small error and dropped down a couple of positions to finish the feature in sixth position.

“The officials cost us any chance of winning the race.”

But last Saturday night things were different as the 2004 Australian Champ was again the guy to beat. The Titan team sprintcar started in both heats from sixth position, Robbie simply stood on the gas and powered forward ending the races with two fine second placing’s. He started from position four in the Dash and like his previous heats Robbie ended the race with yet another second placing. In the main Robbie won the start and just drove away from the field to score another brilliant feature victory.

“I got a great run through the traffic, it made up for the previous weeks disappointment”

This weekend Robbie will be joined by the New Zealand Sprintcar Champion Alan Wakeling in the Titan Team sprintcars for the two night Australian Sprintcar Open in Brisbane.
