| Robbie Farr Gets Dirty This Weekend At Brisbane! | ||||

It’s that time of the year and my racing season starts this Saturday night driving for my new team, Titan Garages and carports at their home base track in Brisbane. I’m looking forward to the summer with the Titan team, they just have to be one of the best set up sprintcar teams in the country. Last weekend I flew up to Brisbane to catch up with Reeve and the guys and to have a shake down run in my new Maxim. I was able to do around 20 or so laps around the Brisbane track and I immediately felt comfortable in the car. It was a system check for this Saturday night and my team certainly worked well during the night and that’s a good sign! I was totally happy with the car and we didn’t experience any problems. This year, we will be chasing all the big meetings during the season, I’m really looking ahead to this year’s World Series Sprintcar trail but it’s going to be very tough. With a couple of the American drivers that will be at WSS events that know the tracks already plus Max coming out of his biggest season last year and Brooke, well he’s going to be so hard after his success in the US so I’m looking forward to the challenge. I’ll be out to win another Australian Sprintcar Title this season and we’ll also be back at my what I call my home track Parramatta, for the World of Outlaws meeting in January. From December my good friend Daryn Pittman will be joining me in a two car Titan sprintcar team. We are really two separate teams as I will have my own cars, motors, crew and transporter as will Daryn, although at times we may be racing at two different tracks on the same night. The cars and teams will both be based out of the same workshop and we will share set ups etc but we will really be two teams. I have two new crew members this years Nick Speed who was with Kerry Madsen last year and Scott Mayles who has been working with World of Outlaws driver Jason Sides so I will have a great team around me. This Saturday night starts my biggest season ever with 50 or so nights of racing during the summer. I will be at every big meeting in this country and with Reeve and his Titan team, I have been provided with the best of everything. Two new 2004 Maxim’s and new motors, they have even moved into a new race shop so it’s the start of the new season with a new team. As I stated earlier I’m really looking forward to the racing this season so if you are at the track come in after the show and say hi and have a chat.
