| Not A Great Ending To My Weekend At Home Or For The Titan Team! | ||||

Everything was going great early in the night, my Titan Garages Maxim picking up a heat and the dash wins but in the main the car got a little bit of bounce up in turn 2 and away it went, crashing out of the main. And while I was leading the A Main! It was the first show at Parramatta and I’ve been looking forward to it all week, you know Parramatta with a 410! I haven’t got too many shows here so I was pretty pumped up about it. I was looking forward to it but with all the bad weather during the week I didn’t think we would get to race. The night started well, I came out of nine in my first heat and ran second, no problems. I won the next heat that gave me a front row start in Dash and went on to take out another victory for the night. Starting from position13, I got to the front of the A Main in about 5 or 6 laps and the car felt great, everything felt good! The track was pretty rough with all the rain we had. I drove through mid track in turn two to take the lead and it felt really good on the line I was using. Next lap around I went back about the same pace and using the same line in turn two and then the car just got a little bounce up and away it went. I went for a ride and it didn’t feel like a big crash, didn’t feel too bad at all, but its certainly done a bit of damage to the front of the chassis. The crash has just made some work for the boys during the week and we really didn’t need that. I think we showed we were the quickest car there, I got to the front that quick and to pull away, we really had a pretty good race car. But that’s the sport and I’ll take it on the chin. This Saturday night I’m back at Parramatta and hopefully this week I’ll finish with a win and not a damaged race car.
