| Another Top Night For Robbie & The Krikke Motorsport Team In Adelaide | ||||

Last Saturday night Robbie headed to Speedway City and it was again another sensational night for the Krikke Motorsports team. Robbie ended up with a superb second placing in the George Tatnell Sprintcar Cup making Adelaide his favourite track of the summer. With the Toyota Genuine Parts Avenger racing at most of the Speedway City sprintcar races Robbie has ended up with a fifth placing in the Sprintcar Masters, winning all three WSS rounds and now a second in the Tatnell Cup, Adelaide and Robbie Farr certainly produce sensational results. Another quality field of 17 was on hand for last Saturday nights meeting with American Paul McMahan in the field it was definitely not going to be easy for Robbie to pick up another victory. Robbie’s opening heat saw the #2 Avenger coming out of position 5 and as expected Robbie simply “stood on the gas” and forged his way into second position by the end of the heat. Heat 4 saw Robbie score a fine victory and after coming out of position 4, he was again in brilliant form to pick up the victory. The Pole Shootout saw Robbie staying in second placing giving him front row starting position with Paul McMahan in the A Main. Robbie got the jump on McMahan in the A Main and led for almost 20 laps. Coming up to a lapped car, Robbie got caught as the lapped car slowed before retiring infield and that was all McMahan needed to forge into a race winning lead. Robbie held on and took out a brilliant second position in the #2 Avenger. “We were good enough to win but I lost the race due to lapped traffic. Paul just did a better job in traffic.” Once again the W2 Avenger performed well thanks to the Krikke Motorsports team and their sponsors: Bunbury Toyota, PWR Radiators, Toyota Genuine Parts, Quick Race Parts, Revolution Racegear, Valvoline, QA 1 Shocks, Avenger Chassis, Fortron, A1 Signs, Mercure Hotel Parramatta and Central Districts Smash Repairs. Robbie’s next race in the Krikke Motorsports Avenger is on March 8th at the Kwinana Motorplex complex for the annual King of Wings classic. |
