Robbie Farr racing the Krikke Motorsport Avenger bounced back last Saturday night at the Avalon Raceway with a great third placing in round 5 of the 2003/4 World Series Sprintcar Championship.
While Robbie’s results have been a little disappointing at the previous rounds, last Saturday night he was back stand-in on the gas with the “Action Man” making forward progress all night.

| It Was A Good And Bad Night For Robbie In Adelaide |

The first of the big sprintcar meetings of the summer was held last Saturday night in Adelaide but unfortunately Robbie Farr in the Krikke Motorsports Avenger was a non finisher in the all important Australian Sprintcar Masters feature.
Robbie was again one of the stars of the night and with good results all through the evening, he was expected to shine during the running of the A Main. His Toyota Genuine Parts, Quick Race Parts, Avenger Chassis, Bunbury Toyota, Krikke Motorsports, PWR Radiators, QA1, Fortron, Terry Shields Toyota, Mercure Hotel, Valvoline Avenger was a little too tight in the A Main. With the track going away the top five were running virtually nose to tail. The “action man’s” machine was too tight and not handling the Adelaide track conditions too well. In an incident that saw David Murcott 1/2 spin out, Robbie tagged his car then came to a stop, and had to do it all again from the rear. After a couple of laps and with the Krikke Motorsports machine not handling too well, Robbie decided to retire from the race.

Last Saturday night Robbie Farr racing the Krikke Motorsports Avenger in Western Australia took out another brilliant sprintcar feature victory at the Quit Motorplex Kwinana.
The evening was Robbie’s first meeting of the summer for Shane and the team and boy wasn’t it a superb way to start the new season off with a fine victory. It was round one of the prestigious Car Craft Sprintcar Series and while Robbie and the Toyota Genuine Parts team are not chasing the season long WA series, the night proved to be a great way to shake down the new #2 Avenger machine.

| Third Placing For Robbie At Pcr |

Robbie racing the Titan Garages 410 cubic inch sprintcar missed the set up for last Saturday night’s sprintcar A Main and had to settle for a fine third placing at the Parramatta City Raceway. Like the previous week Robbie was in great form and ended the evening with 2 victories a second and a third but that back to back A Main victories just was out of his reach.
With Robbie only committed to racing the Titan machine for the first two PCR meetings he was out to see just how quick the 410 powerplants are and he certainly confirmed that the larger engine cars are a weapon. Starting from the pole in the third heat, Robbie was virtually unchallenged and took out a brilliant win. In heat six Robbie came from way back in position 8 and by the end of lap one was running in a strong second position. Unfortunately that’s where he stayed arriving at the checker in second position. In the 6 lap Dash, Robbie quickly “stood on the gas” after coming out of position 3, he took control, going onto score an easy victory giving him two dash wins this season out of two.

What a sensational season debut for Robbie Farr racing the new 410 cubic inch Titan sprintcar as the Parramatta local blitzed the PCR sprintcar field on Saturday night to score a superb victory in the first ever 410 sprintcar A Main raced in Australia.
Robbie racing the Titan Garages sprintcar for the first two Parramatta meetings was absolutely awesome from the moment he jumped into the Queensland #21 machine, he really showed the capabilities of the larger 410 cubic inch spec powerplant. In a usual PCR quality sprintcar field, Robbie showed to all that he meant business. From the start of the opening heat, the “Action Man” was “gassing it up” and quickly powered from position 3 into the race lead going onto score the victory in the first heat. Heat 5 saw Robbie coming out of position 4 and while challenging for the lead, the Titan Garages sprintcar had to settle for second at the checker. In the 6 lap Dash, the beautifully prepared Parramatta track was at its best and with Robbie sharing the front row with Max Dumesny, the Action Man unleashed the power of the 410 and jumped into an immediate and race winning lead. Robbie was awesome in the 6 lapper and the rest of the field didn’t have an answer for the former PCR track champion.

| Summer Time, Sprintcar Time! |

Hi all after a long winter it time to go back to racing and it’s going to be another hectic summer.
It seems to be ages since I’ve sat in a sprintcar, this past winter I tried to stay away from speedway issues and catch up with a few friends. Last year I was off racing in the US as part of my prize in winning the Parramatta track championship but this time I was busy working with brother Colin in our Action Sports Corporate Wear business. In the summer I’m away racing so in the off season I really have to get stuck into the business. It has been a good break away from racing, giving me time to refresh. I’ve played lots of squash and did a bit of running, trying to get in shape for this hectic summer.
Now its sprintcar racing time and I’ll be racing at the first two Parramatta shows. Reeve Kruck has offered me a drive in his Titan Garages car, the same car I used in Queensland at the end of last season. Then following the two PCR shows I’m travelling across to New Zealand spending 3 or 4 days helping a local guy sort out his sprintcar. Then I think I’ve got the next weekend off before flying across to Perth and set about having my first race meeting at Kwinana in the Krikke Motorsports Avenger.

Well, the postponed Australian Sprintcar Open was finally run last weekend and the “Action Man” Robbie Farr ended up his brilliant 2002/3 summer sprintcar season with a pleasing second place in the prestigious event.
Racing for the Titan Garages sprintcar team, Robbie was certainly “standin on the gas” all weekend. The first night of the two night meeting saw time trails opening the show before three rounds of hard fought heats being contested before finishing the night out with the Preliminary A Main. With a quality 24 car field, Robbie in the Queensland number 36 machine posted a 12.410 sec lap in time trails giving him sixth fastest time.

Hi again, and now its that time of the year I hate, the winter off season. It’s certainly been one of my best season’s ever but the past few months that word RAIN has definitely caused me and others, a few drama’s with a couple of the big shows washed out.
The final few months of this past summer were again successful for me. Adelaide has been a good stamping ground for me, I was able to win all three WSS rounds held there and at the annual George Tatnell Sprintcar Cup and after leading for almost 20 laps, I got caught up behind a lapped car and lost the lead. You just can’t give any driver an inch and that’s all the American ace Paul McMahan needed and that slight miscalculation was all he required to get by and take out the win. A week latter at Kwinana in the Michael Nanovich King of Wings I was again second to McMahan. After a red light stoppage Our Krikke Motorsports Avenger was running better, the guys tightened up the car and I was able to peg back his lead but still had to settle for the runner up spot.

| A Great Easter Trail For Robbie! |

Robbie Farr was certainly “standin on the gas” over Easter with the “Action Man” taking a sensational victory in the annual three night Easter Trail.
With his racing commitments in the Toyota Genuine Parts, PWR, Krikke Motorsports Avenger now over, Robbie took the opportunity to return to his former mount, the #56 EWT Auto Dismantlers Avenger and race in the Easter trail for Peter Johnson and his family. Robbie quickly settled back into the car that he won the 2001/2 PCR Track Championship and was fast over all three nights, with him brilliantly winning the final evening at Premier Speedway Warrnambool.

In the words of Elvis Presley, Oh What A Night it Really Was! For Robbie Farr when he took out his third Krikke Boys Memorial Race, that was once again one of the major events on the Bunbury City Speedway calendar.
Once again some of the countries best players including Max Dumesny along with top USA driver, Paul McMahan in the Monte Motorsport #6 J&J were on hand to battle for the event honours at this very prestigious event. With the race going none stop from flag to flag the spectators were entertained with some of the best racing seen at the venue for some time.

| A Strong Second Placing For Robbie At Kwinana |

The annual Coca Cola Michael Nanovich King of Wings was held last Saturday night at the Quit Motorplex Kwinana and Robbie Farr racing his familiar #2 Krikke Motorsports Avenger finished a sensational second placing to American ace Paul McMahan in the 25 lap Feature.
With the summer coming to a close the King of Wings is one of the final big races of the season and its a race that Robbie and the entire Krikke team wanted to win. Timetrails started the evening off and in a 26 car field Robbie ended up setting 6th quick time with a superb 14.320 sec lap. It was in heat three that Robbie first lineup against the quality field assembled and after starting back in seventh position and sharing the back row with McMahan Robbie followed the American home and finished second in his opening heat race. Heat 6 Robbie came from position four but by the checker he had past the three top West Aussies in front and took out a brilliant victory. In the top six Pole Shuffle Robbie dropped down a position and had to start the 25 lap A Main from position 5.

| Another Top Night For Robbie & The Krikke Motorsport Team In Adelaide |

Last Saturday night Robbie headed to Speedway City and it was again another sensational night for the Krikke Motorsports team. Robbie ended up with a superb second placing in the George Tatnell Sprintcar Cup making Adelaide his favourite track of the summer.
With the Toyota Genuine Parts Avenger racing at most of the Speedway City sprintcar races Robbie has ended up with a fifth placing in the Sprintcar Masters, winning all three WSS rounds and now a second in the Tatnell Cup, Adelaide and Robbie Farr certainly produce sensational results.
Another quality field of 17 was on hand for last Saturday nights meeting with American Paul McMahan in the field it was definitely not going to be easy for Robbie to pick up another victory. Robbie’s opening heat saw the #2 Avenger coming out of position 5 and as expected Robbie simply “stood on the gas” and forged his way into second position by the end of the heat. Heat 4 saw Robbie score a fine victory and after coming out of position 4, he was again in brilliant form to pick up the victory. The Pole Shootout saw Robbie staying in second placing giving him front row starting position with Paul McMahan in the A Main.

| The "action Man" Returns To Parramatta City Raceway |
| Sunday, 16 February 2003 00:00 |

Robbie Farr returned to his home track in Sydney, the Parramatta City Raceway last Saturday night and racing against a top quality field, the “Action Man” ended up with a superb sixth placing in the 30 lap sprintcar A Main.
Robbie who is the current PCR track champion certainly hasn’t had the best of luck at his home track, Parramatta this season and racing the #2 Krikke Motorsports PWR Radiators Avenger, Robbie was looking for a good result after his disappointing Classic and Title meetings. He was supposed to run last week but decided to sit out the night giving his back another week to recover and with a couple of big shows in Adelaide and WA still to run to get race fit was the number one priority for Robbie and the team.

Hi again, well we almost did it, after 15 round’s of the World Series Sprintcars I missed winning the series by just over 100 points.
But at last weekend’s Classic it just wasn’t one of our best weekends. After I had set quickest time and in the heats we went okay which gave me a front row starting position in the Australian/American Challenge Cup. What can I say while leading I hit a rut, rolled the Krikke Motorsports Avenger and was out of the race, gee I was leading it well too. That meant that I lost valuable points but was still running in sixth position on the point’s table. Next night I had to make up those points and was starting back in the field in both my heats. Heat 11 and was going forward until I got involved with Ken Sartori who was spinning out in front of me, we made contact with him and rolled the Avenger over again. Twice in two nights but this time the way I landed, I had a shooting pain up my back and ended up with a trip to the local hospital, well that was that and my 2003 Classic campaign was over, maybe next year!

| Tough Weekend For Robbie And The Krikke Motorsports Team |
| Tuesday, 28 January 2003 00:00 |
Three nights of racing didn’t see the results that Robbie Farr was looking for at the Kings Challenge night and the two nights of the Classic. Both events started in the best possible way giving Robbie in the Krikke Motorsport Avenger a positive direction for each show.
The Kings Challenge saw Robbie take home second place behind a charging Donny Schatz after a battle that saw the race lead see saw backswords and forwards between these two drivers in the second part of the race. Robbie thought he might have been able to hold of Schatz but as the track went away he found that the low line was the only place he could run to keep some good speed.

| Robbie Finishes The World Series Sprintcar Championship In Winning Style |
| Tuesday, 21 January 2003 00:00 |
| Robbie Farr racing the Toyota Genuine Parts PWR Radiators Avenger certainly finished the World Series Sprintcars in sensational fashion with the “Action Man” winning both of the final two rounds of the prestigious series. Unfortunately the two victories still didn’t give Robbie enough points to take out the 2002/3 WSS tournament, so to finish a very close second to American World Of Outlaws hard charger Daryn Pittman wasn’t such a bad result for Robbie and the Krikke Motorsports team on their first summer together.

| A Disappointing Weekend For Farr At Parramatta $50,000 To Win Race |
| Tuesday, 14 January 2003 00:00 |
It certainly wasn’t a great weekend for Robbie Farr and the Krikke Motorsports team with Robbie crashing out of the $50,000 to win Sprintcar International held last weekend at the Parramatta City Raceway.
It didn’t start off too well for Robbie on the opening Friday night. Rain had been falling on the Sydney track late in the afternoon and as they were out wheel packing, rain hit again. The ultra slippery track saw Robbie crashing into a push car breaking the #2 Avenger’s front wing mount. With rain delaying the start by two hours, the Krikke Motorsports team was able to weld up the bracket in time for Robbie to set 20th best time (12.712) in the strong 48 car field. In heat 4 Robbie started in position 5 and finished in position 5 and after coming out of position 4 in the B Main, the “action man” took out a superb victory giving him a start in the preliminary A Main. Due to rain, the race was stopped with only four laps completed and was re run the next night.

| A Brillant Second Placing To The Action Man In Brisbane |
| Monday, 13 January 2003 00:00 |
It was another sensational night for Robbie in round 13 of the World Series Sprintcar held at the Brisbane International Speedway last Wednesday night with the #2 Toyota Genuine Parts Avenger picking up a fine second placing in the A Main.
With only three rounds remaining in the 2002/3 WSS tournament, it was very important for Robbie to finish well in the second Brisbane round. American Daryn Pittman is leading the contest but Robbie still had a change of catching and overtaking the World of Outlaws racer so it was important for Robbie and the Krikke Motorsports team of a good result.

After a strong third placing at Brisbane on Saturday night Robbie Farr and the Krikke Motorsports team are looking forward to the final three round’s of the WSS and hopefully picking up the prestigious World Series Sprintcars championship.
The first meeting of the new year at Warrnambool didn’t produced the results Robbie wanted and after setting 3rd quickest time with a brilliant 10.718 sec lap and a fifth placing in heat 6 it just wasn’t his night. After getting involved in a couple of incidents Robbie was credited with 15th position in the A Main.
“I just couldn’t stay out of trouble!”

| Robbies Great Night At Avalon |

Robbie Farr certainly finished 2002 off in sensational fashion with the Action Man picking up his third World Series Sprintcar’s victory on Monday night at the fast Avalon Speedway.
Robbie’s Toyota Geniune Parts Avenger was quick all night, right from setting second fastest time in the opening time trails to taking the checker at the end of the A Main, Robbie was running hot. The Krikke motorsports team with Robbie at the steering wheel of the #2 Avenger have definitely been one of the top combinations all through the 2002/3 WSS tour so far and the Avalon meeting proved that Robbie wants that WSS crown.
