| Engine failure hit the Robbie Farr Motorsport EWT team at Parrammatta | ||||

After brilliantly winning the opening Parramatta City Raceway Driver to the World of Outlaws Premiership round Robbie Farr and his Standox Paints/Central Districts Smash/Truckmate/Valvoline #56 Avenger Sprintcar have been out of luck in the last two weeks. Last night after battling with John Shore for second position in the opening ten lap qualifier a very rare engine failure due to a broken rod, saw the “Action Man” parking his machine in the pits for the remainder of the night. “We just went out on the first heat and broke a rod. A part failure, its just how it goes. Last year we didn’t have any parts failure in the motor and this year we have had one. You just have to take the good with the bad!” Robbie and his #56 Avenger will be back attacking the quick Parramatta track next Saturday night and hopefully will be back up on the winners podium and maybe picking up another Feature race victory. |
