Even though ECPR driver Robbie Farr has been busy this off season welcoming new son Colton into the world on the other side of the country the East Coast Pipeline Racing team has been gearing up for what looks like another big season for the team.

This season the ECPR team are looking outside the square a little & are going out chasing wins early, they have made the switch to Eagle Chassis for the upcoming season, a change that did not come around as an easy one but more of a change that had to happen, the team has a good working relationship with QSS & through this association they decided to make the switch, as Robbie said “If we are all running the same chassis, how can you be that much better than the next guy, we decided a change was needed & this was one way”

The East Coast Pipeline Racing team kick off again in 2010 at the McKay Sprintcar Spectacular at Lindsay Hawkins MacKay Speedway, a race that has become a bit of a tradition for some of Australia’s top teams, not only the big $10,000 to win but also some much needed track time leading into this year’s World Series Sprintcars.

In their 4th season as a team the ECPR outfit led by team boss Barry Waldron plan on chasing 50+ shows this year around Australia & will visit every state in the country in 2010/11, something that hasn’t been done for a few seasons in top class sprintcar racing, races such as Australian Title at premier Speedway Warnambool, Krikke Boys Shootout at Bunbury City Speedway & World Series Grand Final at the Perth Motorplex.
